RIP Nigel Leach

posted in: Club News | 0

All at Horley CC are devastated to hear the news that our good friend Nigel Leach has passed away after illness. Nigel was a stalwart of the club for several seasons and only last season ended with 423 runs and 18 wickets for the 2nd XI. His quick wit and charming smile will be hugely missed by all that were lucky enough to meet him. As a mark of respect for Nigel, the Club are flying the Club flag at half-mast and this Saturday players and officials from both 1st XI and 2nd XI plus opposition teams from Cublington and Witney Mills will hold a minutes silence before their matches begin. Our thoughts and prayers are now with Nigel’s family and closest friends. Nigel may have passed but he leaves many cherished memories for so many of us at Horley Cricket Club. Thank you, Nigel.

The Club will announce further arrangements when they are known.
