Hello all,

Welcome to the 2021 Season, we look forward to seeing you all again and hope to have a 'normal' season!

Tuesday will continue to be our coaching night for all those aged between 7-15. We will be starting on Tuesday 20th April and will continue until Tuesday 24th August.

Training:
Due to regulations there will be a change to the way we run training this year.

There are also limited spaces this year; we will be running on a 'first come first served' basis - as the summer holidays approach we will look into opening our books again.

We as a club adhere to the ‘Safe Hands’ Policy for Safeguarding Children in Cricket. All of the adults at the club who work with children meet the necessary criteria and are checked and vetted by the ECB. Whilst we hope your child will be happy and content at the club, we understand that sometimes questions, concerns or difficulties may arise. Please feel able to raise these as soon as possible, so we can rectify things at the earliest opportunity. If you have a question regarding coaching, please approach the coach in the first instance. Our coaches will be happy to speak to you before or after training or at another convenient time. Please do not interrupt coaching sessions, as this may distract the coach when he or she needs to be supervising the children.

Covid-19 Regulations:
As we try and protect everyone against the virus we ask that you follow the following COVID guidelines (as laid out by ECB/Government):
  • From April 20th until further notice from ECB, the pavilion will only be open to use for the unisex toilet.
  • We will be sanitizing every 20 minutes/6 overs (in games) in matches and at training. The club will provide sanitizer for these however if you would like to bring your own this is encouraged.
  • Please where possible bring your own kit.
  • The bar will be open for table service only, we remain a cashless bar.
  • We remind you to observe social distancing when at the club.
For further advice please contact Rosie Beck

We hope that we have a season of good weather and fun cricket for all!

Kind regards
Horley CC Junior Team
